The Weber School

Starting January 6th 2016 we're excited to be engaged in a 5 month long 3D Printing elective with The Weber School.

Cartersville Middle School

We had a blast with the kids at the at Cartersville Middle school on Dec 8th 2015. 20+ students as part of a AAUW sponsored event. It was great to see these excited young minds introduced to 3D Printing. See below for excerpts from this lovely article by Donna Harris. The penguins will be coming home soon!

"The Cartersville-Bartow American Association of University Women is working hard to introduce girls to careers that once were considered nontraditional fields for women. Its latest effort was a workshop at Cartersville Middle School Tuesday morning to expose 20 eighth-grade girls in its Women in STEM [science, technology, engineering and mathematics] group to one of the newest developments in 3-D technology: the 3-D printer."

"Stanislaw Sliwinski and Tom Laverick from PaliProto in Marietta showed the young women — who were recommended for the group by their seventh-grade science teachers based on their interest and aptitude in science — how to create the designs in their heads using 3-D computer programs and turn them into something they could hold in their hands with the 3-D printer."
